    To qualify for a DreamSpring loan, you must meet the following eligibility requirements: 

  • You must be over the age of 18.
  • You must have a Social Security Number (SSN) OR an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN).
  • You want to start or grow a business. (We don’t offer personal loans.)
  • Your business must be located in one of the states we serve: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
  • For return applicants, recent DreamSpring loans will factor into our decisioning.
  • Minimum credit score of 600.

    • What you’ll need for your loan application

    For the smoothest loan application process, please gather the following information, materials, and documents before getting started: 

    • Your business’ North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code. (What’s this?) 
    • Your business’ Employer Identification Number (EIN). (What’s this?) 
    • A cellular/smart phone with built-in camera for identity verification. 
    • Your valid government-issued photo ID card for identity verification. We accept a driver's license, passport, Matricula Consular, medical card, U.S. military ID card, or ITIN card. 
    • Your business’ average monthly revenue and expenses (also known as an Income Statement or Profit & Loss Statement). 
    • Two (2) character references; one reference must come from a family member who does not live with you. 
    • Details on any assets you plan on pledging as collateral toward your loan. (What can I use as collateral for a business loan?) 
    • In 2024, DreamSpring implemented an identity verification fee of $25 for all loan applications. This fee covers the costs of conducting an identity verification check --- which protects your information and helps DreamSpring prevent fraud.
