2023 NBMBAA® Scale Up Pitch Challenge

The National Black MBA Association® (NBMBAA) Scale-Up Pitch Challenge is a pitch competition designed to “Make Big Ideas Bigger” by providing start-ups the opportunity to scale and connect to early-stage investors and venture capitalists who are ready to invest. Includes prizes up to $50,000 in non-dilutive funds. Apply by Aug. 4.

Antares REACH Grant Program 

From Hello Alice and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), the Antares REACH Grant Program will provide $20,000 grants to small businesses preparing for their next stage of growth. Applicants must be historically underrepresented entrepreneurs that provide important community services. Apply by Aug. 4.

Venmo Small Business Grant  

$10,000 grants are available to entrepreneurs who use Venmo for business payments. Applicants must have a Venmo business profile with a business description, as well as profile and background photos on their accounts; less than 10 employees; and less than $50,000 in revenue. Apply by Aug. 7.

Summer Causality Brand Grant 

Grant offers both full (pro bono) and matching (partial, funding requirement of 50%) services grants to help nonprofits and good causes access branding, graphic design, creative services, and web site design and development services at no or low cost. The grants are open to non-profit organizations and educational clients. Apply by Aug. 11.

Brookfield Properties Partner to Empower

Free resources are available to business owners of color who are interested in opening a store within the Brookfield Properties U.S. mall portfolio; want to sign a two-year license agreement; and are available to attend ta virtual, expert-led course on all things business and brick-and-mortar retail. Aveeno Startup Collective

Siete Juntos Fund

Siete Foods is looking to uplift majority Latina-owned food trucks, bakeries, and eateries with a total of $200,000 in awards, with grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. Apply by Aug. 15.

TRANSFORM Business Grant

AT&T She's Connected Grant 

Apply or nominate your favorite woman-owned small business to become a part of the She’s Connected by AT&T community and for a chance to win $20,000 to put toward their women-owned small business, a free year of AT&T service and devices, and the full support of the She’s Connected by AT&T platform. Apply by Aug. 31.

Corporate Counsel Women of Color Grants

The Corporate Counsel Women of Color will award five $5,000 grants to women of color entrepreneurs on a rolling basis. Applicants must have a for-profit business in operation as of 2020 with an EIN number; show income of over $25,000; and be at least 18 years of age. Apply now.
