    1492/1619 American Aftermaths Grant

    The Aftermath Project’s 2025 cycle marks the final year of this special five-year grant, launched in response to the events of 2020. Open to photographers exploring the lasting impacts of 1492 and 1619, the grant awards one $25,000 prize and four $5,000 finalist grants. Thoughtful proposals addressing these themes, including diverse perspectives on race and identity, are encouraged.

    Silvio and Eugenia Petrini Fiber Arts Grant

    This grant provides $300 for Handweavers Guild of America (HGA) members to study in non-accredited fiber art programs at any skill level to advance their craft. 

    Applications are open Dec. 1, 2024 – Feb. 15, 2025.

    Mearl K. Gable II Memorial Fiber Arts Grant

    HGA members can receive $100 or more for non-accredited fiber art studies or research. Created to honor Mearl K. Gable II, this grant excludes certified programs and requires recipients to share their findings with the Weavers Guild of the North Shore.

    Applications are open Dec. 1, 2024 – Feb. 15, 2025.

    Teach-It-Forward Fiber Arts Grant

    This $500 grant supports HGA members teaching weaving or spinning to beginners with innovative proposals, encouraging educators who are bringing new enthusiasts into the fiber arts community. 

    Applications are open Dec. 1, 2024 – Feb. 15, 2025.

    Georgia: 2024 Idea Capital Grant Application

    Idea Capital makes grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to metropolitan Atlanta artists to encourage experimental and investigative art projects, including the awarding of one travel grant. The grant seeks to foster a new tone of experimentation and support in the Atlanta art world, as well as encourage a larger framework of support.

    Nebraska: Individual Artist Fellowship for Visual Arts

    Nebraska artists can apply for up to $5,000 in funding to support the creation of new art, presentations, training, or research. This year’s fellowship focuses on visual arts, including painting, photography, ceramics, and more. Recipients are selected based on artistic merit by a professional panel.

    Queens-based artists and arts organizations can apply for funding to produce arts and culture projects that enrich the borough's community. Part of NYSCA's Statewide Community Regrants program, these grants support local creativity and cultural engagement.

    Be Still Media Quarterly Art Competition

    Reflect, respond, and create art inspired by the redemptive power of transformation, as showcased in Sing Sing. Open to all artists and mediums, the competition awards $15,000 in prizes, including $6,000 for first place and a $2,000 People’s Choice Award determined by public vote. Submissions must be original, up to five minutes in length, and uploaded via a shareable URL.

    The NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship awards $8,000 unrestricted cash grants to artists living in New York State. Open to artists across all stages, this fellowship supports individual vision and voice in the following 2025 categories: Architecture / Environmental Structures / Design, Choreography, Music / Sound, Photography, and Playwriting/Screenwriting.

    New Mexico: Fulcrum Fund 

    The Fulcrum Fund, operated by 516 ARTS in partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, supports New Mexico visual artists and collectives with grants ranging from $2,000 to $10,000. Designed to foster innovative, experimental projects with a public component, the fund emphasizes visual art and related interdisciplinary practices. Eligible projects include exhibitions, public art, publications, artist residencies, and more.

    BrooklynBrewery-B-green

     

    Calling All Makers 

    Brooklyn Brewery is offering $10,000 grants to five visionary creators in the categories of Food & Drink Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Arts, Music, and Activism. Winners will receive funding, a session with their category’s judge, a trip to NYC for the awards ceremony, and exposure on Brooklyn Brewery’s platforms in 2025.
