Artadia Awards: Atlanta 

The Artadia Awards provide financial support, exposures and recognition to artists with unrestricted awards of $15,000 or $25,000 provided to four artists in a different program city each month. This month, artists in Atlanta are invited to apply. 

Applications are open Sept. 1 – Oct. 1.

 

 

Creative Legacy Makers Grant  

The 2024 Creative Legacy Makers Grant is a $10,000 award aimed at supporting an established Black craftsperson or collective with over 30 years in the field — helping to establish their legacy in craft rather than fund a single project. Recipients can use the grant for various creative endeavors.

“The Big Questions” Request for Proposals

Supported by the John Templeton Foundation, the National Geographic Society is seeking innovative photography, short film, writing, data visualization and other storytelling proposals to help people consider some of the greatest questions of our time. Questions include: What does it mean to be human? What are the boundaries of Earth, or more precisely, what are the limits to what we can understand? What is the relationship between the human and natural worlds? Artists can request up to $100,000. 

Apply by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sept. 11.

 

 

 

Visual AIDS Artist Support Grants   

Artist Support Grants are awarded to artists living with HIV who need financial assistance to provide holistic support for their artistic practice.

Macy's Fashion Bootcamp 

Fashion industry entrepreneurs can learn the fundamentals of doing business with America’s leading department store, Macy’s Inc. During this interactive webinar, you will hear directly from buyers, have a better understanding of the operational logistics that keep racks full in store and online, and get a sneak peek into The Workshop at Macy’s, a retail vendor development program designed to give diverse and women-owned businesses tools to succeed in the industry.

New York City Good Neighbor Committee Grants 

The Good Neighbor Committee provides unrestricted funding up to $100,000 to a small group of community-based organizations working in New York City in the three focus areas including arts and culture. To be eligible, applicants must be based in New York City, primarily support local work within the five boroughs, and have 501(c)(3) status or work with a fiscal sponsor.

Gucci North America Changemakers Impact Fund Grant

The Impact Fund will grant up to $1 million to 12 community-based 501(c)(3) organizations across the select Changemakers cities through 2024 based on program and community needs. The Impact Fund will support community-based social impact areas using arts and culture to bring about positive change. Each awardee will receive a one-year grant for up to $25,000.

Folk and Traditional Arts Project Grant 

The Colorado Office of Economic Development and international Trade’s Folk and Traditional Arts Project Grant includes funding opportunities of up to $3,000. Funds can be used to create, present, or teach folk and traditional arts; and/or to document folk or traditional arts and cultural heritage via community archiving, oral histories, photojournalism, video, or other creative and/or documentary works. Applicants must be based in Colorado.

Etsy Disaster Relief Fund

Etsy sellers will be eligible for a $2,500 grant if they experienced a federally declared natural disaster within the past year, have been an active seller on Etsy for at least one year, and their Etsy account is in good standing.
