Hoping to provide a sweet future for his kids, Taos beekeeper Jason Goodhue approached DreamSpring for $8,000 to buy the equipment he needed to establish Taos Valley Honey.

“For me, it took the step of saying, Yes, I can do this,” he says. “I can create something better for me and for my family and for my community.” Jason eventually sold Taos Valley Honey to his apprentice, Mike McMannon. Now under a new name, Taos Honey Co. offers a variety of honey products that are sold and shipped nationally through Mike’s buzz-generating website.
