When I first started DreamSpring nearly 30 years ago, I felt like I had stepped off a cliff — and the ground was coming up fast. Many times since then I felt like I was once again on the edge of a precipice. Passion and grit kept me going through many dark days, as did the encouragement of people like you who deeply cared. DreamSprings Anne Haines presenting at OFN 2022

    Dear DreamMakers,

When I first started DreamSpring nearly 30 years ago, I felt like I had stepped off a cliff — and the ground was coming up fast. Many times since then I felt like I was once again on the edge of a precipice.
Passion and grit kept me going through many dark days, as did the encouragement of people like you who deeply cared.

As we close National Women’s Small Business Month, I recognize the vital importance of supporting women entrepreneurs with solidarity and hope. Women business leaders are anchors for families and hubs of economic activity. Together, by advancing women in entrepreneurship, we build vibrant communities and foster pioneering spirit in future generations. As we lift one another up, we rise above dark days and uncertainty and into new possibilities.

I believe that just as valuable as the $155 million in loans DreamSpring has made to women, so too is our belief in these catalytic small business owners. Standing with women entrepreneurs, inclusive capital and encouragement have the power to strengthen entrepreneurial courage.

    With appreciation,
    Anne Haines, DreamSpring President/CEO
